The Peppertree, Luxury Accommodation

A warm welcome awaits you at "The Peppertree", nestled on south side of historic Riverlands' Cob Cottage, State Highway One on the outskirts of Blenheim. The Peppertree is an ideal base for touring the internationally renowned Marlborough wine region or simply as a place to rest and unwind. The Peppertree takes its name from the grove of Pepper Trees (Schinus molle) which line the drive leading to the gracious Edwardian Villa. The Weston House

The Weston House is a well known Christchurch landmark and was built for George Weston, a prominent Christchurch Lawyer, to a design by Architect Cecil Woods. It has been described in respected publications as the finest Neo-Georgian building in New Zealand and carries the coveted Historic Places Trust Category 1 listing. The House was constructed over a two year period by English craftsmen and was completed in 1924. John and Pam would like to welcome you to our spacious modern home in a peaceful rural setting overlooking the Kahurangi National Park. Golden Bay offers many activities and crafts and we enjoy assisting visitors make the most of their time here. We are close to the beautiful beaches of the bay, and our two magnificent National Parks Abel Tasman and Kahurangi. Pam loves cooking, using fruit and vegetables from our garden. She enjoys catering for special diets, our substantial breakfasts include home made bread, muesli, yoghurt, marmalade and jams. In summer we will often have a barbecue. Both rooms have ensuite bathrooms, one is ramped and is completely accessible, as is most of the house.

"Harpers" is a homestay where friendliness, comfort and visitors' needs are a priority. Your hosts, Jo and Ian, are true "kiwis" who have traveled and lived in various parts of the world. In fact we first met while traveling overseas. We have been home hosting for several years and gain a lot of pleasure from the world coming to our home. The guests wing is separate from the living part of the house and both rooms have lake and mountain views. We enjoy sharing our living area with guests and offer a hot drink and muffins or cookies on arrival. We are also keen gardeners and our guests are very welcome to wander through our garden or sit and relax to enjoy the superb views.
