The B&B Gli Ulivi is located in Leivi in the charming hills of the Gulf of Tigullio. From Chiavari (exit motorway A12) one follows the road signs for Leivi. B&B Gli Ulivi, surrounded by olive trees, is at less than 5 km from the seaside town of Chiavari and can be easily reached also by bus (bus-stop Palestra Comunale). The B&B in situated in a comfortable villa on two floors. B&B Gli Ulivi has two double rooms, both looking onto the garden, with their own bathroom and independent entrance. A single bed can be added. The area of Leivi offers various other facilities like tennis courts, horse riding tracks, itineraries for trekking and mountain biking. Fax and internet connections are available. The owners speak English and German.

Levanto, is a splendid seaside village located in the region known as Cinque Terre (Five Lands). While staying at Delaide you can reach Cinque Terre in 5 minutes and Pisa in 1 hour by train. Delaide features four quality rooms that provide everything you need for modern comfort such as TV, air conditioning, etc. Two of the inviting rooms also have a terrace.

Hotel Garden

Levanto is known as the “Gateway” of the Cinque Terre. Garden Hotel is the “Gateway” to Levanto’s beach. Cordiality, quality of service and friendship are the Daneri – Cassola family values for all guests who wish for a pleasant stay in Levanto. Small but functional, Garden Hotel is on the first floor of a modern building facing the sea and with a view over the park. The hotel which was taken over in 2002, has been completely modified and refurbished reaching the highest standards for hospitality. All 14 bedrooms have balconies, en-suite bathrooms, showers, hairdryers, telephones, safety boxes, satellite TV’s, minibars and air conditioning. The hotel also has an additional three bedrooms on the top floor, currently without en-suite bathrooms but with an incomparable view overlooking Levanto’s bay and green hills. If needed, luggage can be left at the Hotel reception all day until guests’ departure. The Hotel reception is open from 8 AM to midnight. Breakfast buffet is served from 8 to 10 AM. Small pets are welcomed, but are not allowed in the dining room.

All of these places can be visited by regular boat service. Genoa, which is the main town of the area is 1 hour by car. Going further afield, Lucca and Pisa are of course, worth a visit. Both Florence and France are approximately a 2 hour drive and either can be visited in a day.
