Casali Santa Brigida

Along the Braccianese Claudia way, a 3rd century Etruscan road, a short distance from Rome, rises the tourist complex "Casali Santa Brigida". The estate takes its name from an ancient legend of that a church nearby houses the remains of Saint Brigida. The Casale dell'Ara delle Rose is an ancient Cardinal's residence. The building has recently been modernized into a comfortable country villa. The strategic position of the villa will allow you to mix a relaxing holiday with visits to Rome's city centre. The villa has a large enclosed garden where you can relax in harmony with nature while taking full advantage of the terraces, balconies, gazebo and beautiful corners of the villa's park. All of the double bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom and they are furnished with antique family pieces. The rooms are bright and cosy, the suites have a walk-in-wardrobe and the bathrooms have a bathtub shower and double washbasins. The villa is located close to the village and here you will find a bus stop that will take you to the subway. From the subway, you will be taken directly into the city of Rome. This location allows you to enjoy all that Rome has to offer by day and village life at night. In the village you will find some excellent, refreshing and delightful pizzerias that you will be able to reach comfortably on foot.

Nearby you can find shops of all kinds including several supermarkets, cinemas, jewelers, clothes shops and more. Via Tuscolana is a good place to go shopping and to save money. Choose from rooms with two or three beds, all of which have television and they are bright, big and comfortable. At your time of arrival, your hosts will give you a set of towels which will be changed together with the sheets every 3 days. All apartments have an independent entrance, private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, heating, direct dial telephone, surround sound television, computer, printer, fax, built-in kitchen unit and car park. All apartments are luxuriously fitted with durable and high quality furnishings. The same high quality applies to the external decor along with the grounds of the property. Upon arrival, the driveway, paved with its river cobblestone mosaic, helps provide you with an enchanting entrance into the villa. Additionally, there are water games, a swimming pool, a fountain, rocks garden and high quality garden furniture to ensure your total relaxation. There is a reception with porter's lodge. Here a guard, help and maintenance service are provided. Special rates are available for those that need a shuttle service, car hire, bicycle or scooter rental. Residenza Solferino is in the northwest zone of Rome in Via Aurelia, 15 minutes from St. Peter's and a stone's throw from the "ring-road". This means that you have total freedom of movement, traffic allowing, of course. There is a little restaurant on site for your convenience.
